Goatstone
Visual identity | Typography
When I moved to London and visited the National Maritime Museum, I saw this charming sculpture of a goat with a little necklace. I immediately sketched it right there, and a bit later, Goatstone was born - a gracefully threatening jewellery brand for those who are fascinated by goats.

I created a series of posters and postcards using grids in a more unexpected manner. I juxtaposed a menacing typeface and a minimal colour palette with a lovely illustration of a goat. All of this is meant to reflect the cute yet intimidating nature of the animals—just look at their eyes! Terrifying.

What I learnt
I created an exciting brand, putting thought not only into the look but also the meaning and values. It’s subtle yet confident. I learnt how to use grids effectively but I still didn’t let them constrain me. Finally, I applied this branding across various media while still maintaining consistency and was enslaved by the goats in the process.
