OOH I Digital

Booking holiday homes is easy on Booking.com. I was the lead designer on this campaign from the very initial concepts to delivery across multiple platforms (digital and OOH) and even multiple countries (UK, DE, FR, AU).

Team:Creatives Peggy Nuttail and Andy Wilson, Producer Callum Furminger.

While I wasn't the one animating, I was setting out the type layouts for each execution.

On this upper shopping floor we created three spaces for each of our key visual.

Going deeper into the station you'd have discovered an area dedicated to our Pool Boy, peering down at people passing by, and, well, more Pool Boys.

While working on this campaign, our CD and I took a trip to scout the area and plan it all out.

After checking the plans of the station, specs of the placements and presenting our suggested layouts, no doubt I looked like this, but it all came out just fine in the end.

Plus, we came back with a lot of intel and substance to our arguments against comments to 'make logo or headline bigger' if they were to come. Things are enormous there already.

In situ mock-ups look so much better, but hey, let me enjoy seeing my first OOH at all its potato-camera-refresh-rate-doesn't-match glory.

How it all started...

We had some nice ideas earlier in the development

And then, there was a shoot, too.

But the most notable mention goes to the dog.

Unfortunately, it didn't survive RTB4.
